Pack of light effects that can be used for 100x100 icons. I always find myself needing them when I go on an icon-making rampage, so I decided to make some of my own.


If you want to make your own, its fairly simple, especially around this time. Pull out some christmas lights (I used orange ones from halloween) and take pictures of them (minus flash of course).

Try laying them in positions and moving the camera around as it is taking a picture for those trailing effects. Make sure the area is dark and there is nothing in the image capturing the light.

I did these on my carpet which is pretty textured, so the lights reflected off of that but not in a bad way.



Feel free to edit/change the colors as you wish. I did a few with some altered colors. Please credit me if you use the icons for OPEN USE. I know a lot of people make stocks of icons and submit them to communities. So please credit me there~
